MUSEUM NIGHTS
5 - 9 p.m. during Thursdays during the UF academic calendar term
Sponsored by UF Student Government, the Museum Nights mission is to make available to students the rich artistic, scientific and cultural heritage of the Cultural Plaza museums. Join the Harn every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. during the academic calendar year and visit the Florida Museum of Natural History on a select Thursday night each month. Admission is free. Entertainment includes musicians, dance groups, movies, tours, art-making and more. Select nights also feature complimentary refreshments.

Journey to the fascinating land of Africa
Explore the continent of Africa and its culture with the “Inside Africa” interactive exhibit at the Florida Museum of Natural History and visit the Harn Museum of Art's collection of African Art. Continue your African exploration at other Gainesville cultural venues including the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Thomas Center Gallery, Acrosstown Repertory Theater, University Auditorium, Santa Fe Community College Zoo and Gallery. These destinations will captivate you with African art, performing arts, music, photography, videos and animals.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Visitors to the Harn Museum of Art and Florida Museum of Natural History will enjoy a day of fun for all ages while learning about the environment during the annual Earth Day celebration. The event features live music, dance performances, games, eco-friendly art activities and community booths.
